Anti-bias is an attitude. If you're in charge of children during their first few years of life, you can help to create that attitude in them.
An anti-bias attitude is one that incorporates the acceptance of individual differences.
Good people come in all shapes, sizes, genders, and abilities. You and I can point them out often and we can point them out early. We can nurture an attitude of inclusivity in our homes, in our childcare environments, and in our communities.
An anti-bias attitude is one that nurtures a strong and positive cultural identity in children.
