Staff meetings in early childhood organizations can be rough, competitive, frustrating and/or boring. Or they can be inspirational. When they're productive, every child, teacher, parent and administrator wins.

What do we do well as a team? How can we do more of that?
Starting out like this makes use of the technique called appreciative inquiry. Appreciative inquiry focusses on what we do right instead of our mistakes. It doesn't ignore mistakes or discuss only positives but it does set the stage for success by focusing on what we want to see more of.
